  This beautiful and historic church inspired author, Eugenia Price, to write a historical trilogy surrounding St Simons Island and residents buried at the church. My family would come to St Simons from Athens in the summer so my aunt bought me a Eugenia Price bookto read.
  
  My favorite place to go was in search of graves for families that were featured in the book. As a young girl, i felt like I was visiting family. My favorite place on earth except for my hometown of Athens and my own family's cemetary.

  Beautiful. 2nd oldest church in the US. Original settlers of SSI buried here. If you come to SSI you have yo come here
